And God warned you that you should not boast nor brag in your mind that it’s by your might or power that you are rich or wealthy on earth, according to Deut.8:17.which says that And you say in your 💓 heart by my power and might of mine hand had gotten me this wealth.

That’s God he is known by His voice not picture nor any image.
The example show that God created wealth and controls it, despite that He had given human beings dominions over everything. You see, by your own wisdom, power and might you cannot acquire wealth, nor see the road leading to where it is.
However God to wealth is like a man who buried gold and silver in his farmland. And come outside to the public and announced that he buried gold and silver in it. And has given power to everyone to go and search for it. And that Whosoever that find it, shall take and do whatever the person wishes.
So a man heard this information and tried his best searched for it both days and nights, but couldn’t find it. So after the man had exhausted all his energies, times he came to his senses and went to the owner of the gold and silver. After prayers and fastings, asked him to reveal the secret of where he buried it in his farmland. The man had pity on him and revealed to him where he buried them. And he went there without stress and dugout the golds and silvers. And from that moment the man became the wealthies in the products and everyone goes to him to buy. That’s how it is with God and his wealth he had created for human beings on earth.
It is only those who go to God and demand the secrets of acquiring wealth are the people who become rich and wealthy in life. It’s like Adam he gave birth of him into wealths. And commanded Noah to gather it also without stress.
Further if God made you rich, you forget him, he will take it away from you, or if you violate or breach his rules or commandments. He can take it away from you and give it to a poor individual who has regards on him and his service. That’s the reason of 1Sam .2:7 , The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he brings low and lifts up. And in 2 Chr.25:8 said that… For the God had power to help and to cast down.
And Eccl.6:2 A man to whom God had given riches, wealth and honour so that he wanted nothing for his soul of all that he desired, yet God gave him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger ate it, this is vanity and it’s an evil disease.
God can make you rich, you breach his rules, he wouldn’t give you power to enjoy it.
Job 2:10 says that Job said to his wife. You spoke as one of the foolish women spoke. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.
Job knew that God does good and at the same time does evil. You will know that God is evil is the day you sin against Him and refuse to repent, confess your sins to Him and ask Him to forgive you and restore you back to Himself. It’s like your earthly father or mother you wouldn’t know that they are wicked until you provoke any of them to serious anger which he or she cannot bear without flogging or caining you that very day.
Eccl. 5:19 added that Every man also to whom God had given riches and wealth and had given him power to eat thereof. And to take his portion and to rejoice in his labour, this is the gift of God.
That is, if you are rich, enjoying it with good health including your family members, then thank God extra ordinarily in your life time.
God owns the earth, everything and does whatever pleases Him
He kills, make alive, make rich and poor.
For example, 1 Samuel 2:6-9 confirmed that,
6, The Lord kills and makes alive, he brings down to the grave and brings up.
7, The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he brings low and lifts up.
8, He raised up the poor out of the dust and lifted up the beggar from the dunghill to set them among princes. And to make them inherit the throne of glory, for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s. And he had set the world upon them.
9, He will keep the feet of his saints and the wicked shall be silent in darkness, for the strength shall no man prevail.
Anyone on earth who is boasting or bragging with his own power and might is provoking God which is very dangerous. He makes one rich and another poor, which means there are people on earth created to be poor. That’s the reason Jesus said it clear during his earthly ministry that we shall have poor among you always, but cannot have Him.
He makes a woman barren and unbarren
1 Samuel 1:5-6 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion, for he loved Hannah but the Lord had shut up her womb. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb.
Psalm 113:9 says that He makes the barren woman to keep house and to be a joyful mother of children.
He shuts up Hannah’s womb and later in the day remembered her and gave her the best child, prophet Samuel. That’s God, he does whatever he likes without minding you or anything at all. That’s really how he makes one poor and later make him rich or wealthy.
Palm 127:1 concluded that Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Execpt the Lord keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain. That’s the symbols of riches and wealth if God did not make you one, you are wasting your time and energy for nothing sake.
Exodus 4:11-12 God claimed responsibility that And the Lord said unto Moses, who had made man’s mouth? Or made the dumb, deaf or the seeing or the blind? Have not I the Lord. Now therefore go and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say. Then think is it in terms of making riches you would have power to get without the Creator? It is impossible.
No body has ever becomes rich without the Creator of it.
The above mentioned Scriptures have opened your eyes both physically and spiritually that nobody makes riches and wealth without the supreme being who created it and gave human beings dominions to possess them. Wealthy people in the Bible
1, Adam
Adam was the first wealthy man on earth, who never struggle or think how to start life or make riches. Rather he was born into wealths, after God created wealths he handed him over to control and give them names as his own. And whatever names given to them were their names and no one has power to change their names forever, according to Gen. 2: 19-20 .
2, Noah
Noah was the second wealthy man on earth, God gave him wisdom, power to build ark, ability to select all the whole animals on earth. Males and females double each both clean and unclean. And power of protection and preservation and his family members through out the flood period. That’s how God is giving people power to make wealth.
3, Abraham
Abraham was rich according to the book of Gen .13:2, And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver and in gold.
Verse 6 continued and said that And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together for their substance was great so that they could not dwell together.
Abram as he then was, his riches started the day God choosed him and also told him to leave his father’s house and family and follow him.
If you are nonentity or nobody in life but whenever you have an encounter with God your life will change positively and you becomes somebody important immediately.
Then Gen 12:1-4
1, Now the Lord had said unto Abram get you out of your country and from your kindred and from your father’s house unto a land that I will show you.
2, And I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing.
3, And I will bless them that bless you and curse him that cursed you and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
God called Abraham out from his family and promised to bless him all.
To make him great nation, that is from great man with great family, great children with great friends and well wishers . And also make him to be a blessing anywhere he is and anywhere he goes around the world. And God further promised him to bless them that blessed him. That’s the people who are helping him to progress from glory to glory. Both in his business, that is the customers of Abram. God will bless them and make them to sell fast and go to him and purchase again and again.
You see anyone that is helping Abram to progress in anyway or form that very individual will not lack for the sake of Abram. In the same manner God is working with Abram to be rich, he is also working with the people who are patronizing his business. Because if God did not make those people succeed Abram will not succeed also. That’s I bless them that bless you. You see when God is blessing you he is also blessing every source of your income or your riches in life.
God also promised to curse who ever that will curse Abram
That is God promised to curse anyone that will curse Abram as he is obediently working and serving Him. That’s is to fight his enemies that wanted to destroy either his life or family or business or whatever that belongs to him. For example, if you are making money and your enemies are destroying it. You wouldn’t be rich neither become someone nor your fame reign anymore. That’s why God Himself built a hage around Abram.
God bless Abram with riches and security
However God blessed Abram with riches and at the same time provided security for him. That is exactly what many people are lacking today both in life and business , but the believers of Jesus Christ are through the power in the name of Jesus Christ.
God Changed Abram to Abraham
God gave Abram new tittle known as Abraham which means Father of all nations, according Gen 17:5, Neither shall your name anymore be called Abram but your name shall be Abraham, for a father of many nations have I made you.
God changed his name so that it will work for him.
God blessed Abraham in everything
Gen. 24:1 And Abraham was old and well stricken in age and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. That’s Abraham was wealthy and lacked through out his life because of God he served and worshipped.
4, Lot
Lot was also rich, a relative of Abraham was rich and God blessed him and made him rich because of Abraham. Gen.13:5-6 And Lot also which went with Abraham had flocks and herds and tents. And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell together, for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.
5, Isaac
Isaac was rich according to the book of Gen 26:12-14
12, Then Isaac sowed in that land and received in the same year an hundred fold and the Lord blessed him.
13, And the man waxed great and went forward and grew until he became very great.
14, For he had possession of flocks and possession of herds and great store of servants and the Philistines envied him.
No one envy mad people on the street but great man
You see Isaac was blessed by God apart from the riches of his father. He had great wealth God prospered him with in the land of Philistines which made them to envy him. And God also protected him and his riches according to Gen 26 :11 which says that And Abimelech charged all his people , saying, He that touched this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.
When God blessed you He became your security, that is on earth everyone is servant even God.
6, Jacob
Jacob was rich according to the book of Gen. 30:42-43
42, But when the cattle were feeble he put them not in, so the feebler were Laban’s and the stronger Jacob’s.
Because God wanted Jacob to be richer than Laban he made supernatural distinction by making the cattle of Jacob stronger and Laban’s feebler. That proved that God was with Jacob against Laban.
43, And the man increased exceedingly and had much cattle and maidservants and menservants and 🐫 camels and asses.
God blessed Laban because Jacob in order to enrich him in that place. According to Gen.30:30 which says that For it was little which you had before I came and now it is now increased unto a multitude and the Lord had blessed you since my coming. And now when shall I provide for mine own house also?
God blessed and made Laban prosperous so that he will bless Jacob in future, just as God promised Abraham I bless those who bless you and curse the same manner.
God was security to Jacob
He warned Laban not to speak to Jacob whether for good or evil nor take his possession, according to Gen.31: 24 which says that And God came to Laban the Syrian in dream by night and said unto him. Take heed that you speak not to Jacob either good or bad.
That means, for God visited Laban in his dream and warned him to be careful before he will run into trouble. And God protected Jacob, family and business to avoid loss or miscarriage of anything. However remember the history of Jacob for he didn’t inherit the riches of father Isaac because of Esua his elder brother he bought his birthright. Which made ran away from his father’s 🏠 house. And it was where he ran into was the place God of Abraham and Isaac visited him and made rich. According to Gen 35:11-12 And God said unto him I am God Almighty be fruitful and multiply, a nation and a company of nations shall be of you and kings shall come out of your loins. And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac to you I will give the land.
At Laban’s house God blessed him with his daughters and their maids and with wealth, to the extent he also blessed his brother Esau with riches. The riches that made his brother became speechless and forgot the past forever, see Gen 33:1-11. And God made Jacob prosperous in all things including changing his name from Jacob to Israel, Gen. 35:9-10. In the same manner he changed the name of Abraham so that his name will work for him.
7, Joseph
Joseph was rich and a source of riches to his master Potiphar according to Gen 39:2 which says that And the Lord was with Joseph and he was a prosperous man and he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. Verse 3 And his master saw that the Lord was with him. And that the Lord all that he did to prosper in his hand
Verse 4 And Joseph found grace in his sight and served him and he made him overseer over his house and all he had he put into his hand.
Verse 5 And it came to pass from the time that he had hand over all that he had , that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake and the blessing of the Lord was upon all that he had in the house and in the field.
God saved the land of Egypt because of the family of Jacob during famine
Gen. 41:47-49
47 And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.
48 And he gathered up all the food of the seven years which were in the land of Egypt. And laid up the food in the cities, the food of the field which was round about every city, laid up in the same.
49 And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering for it was without number. That’s the reason Jesus said in the book of Luke 1:37 For God nothing shall be impossible.
God makes the impossible possible, he created the earth and he is the greatest farmar. He makes everything the farmers farm in their various lands to produce mightily. He knows everything that is going to happen in future. If he didn’t revealed that dreams to King Pharoah, the people of would have died or perished in hunger. And had it been that he didn’t gave dreams to Pharoah and gave Joseph the ability to interpret his dreams. Joseph would have died in prison. And the family of his father Jacob perished in hunger during famine.
8, Israelites
The people of Israel were rich according to Exodus 1:7 which says that And the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly and multiplied and waxed exceeding mighty and the land was filled with them.
God gave Israelites favour in Egypt
It was God that gave them favour in the sight of the Egyptians, if not his favour on them. They would left Egypt with nothing, empty handed. Exodus 3:21-22
21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians and it shall come to pass that when you go, you shall not go empty.
22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour and of her that sojourned in her house, jewels of silver and jewels of gold and raiment and you shall put them upon your sons and upon your daughters and you shall spoil the Egyptians.
Riches , honour and wealth are with God and nobody on earth acquire it without God’s leadership or direction. And proverbs 8:18 confirmed it that Riches and honour are with me ( God) , yes durable riches and righteousness. And verse 21 added that He cause those who love him to inherit substance and he will fill their treasures. And Deutronomy 8:18 … Remember the Lord your God for it’s he that gives power to get wealth…
If God did not favour you, nobody can. But if he favours you, you are favoured anywhere you are and go.
9, Boaz
Boaz was wealthy man in the Bible, who used his wealth to help those in need, such as Ruth who believed in the God of Israel. According to the book of Ruth 2:1 which says that And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband’s, a mighty man of wealth of the family of Elimelech and his name was Boaz. And in verses 13&14 God used Boaz provided for Ruth and encouraged her in all ramifications of life.
10, David
David was also rich according to the book 1 Chronicles 29:28 And he died in a good old age full of days, riches and honour and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
The beginning of David God was with him that was the reason the people of Israel gathered themselves choosed him and made him their King , see 1Chr. 11:1-9… So David waxed greater and greater, for the Lord was with him. Whoever God is with cannot lack any good thing or honour anywhere he is or go. However to know God is to know the ways of riches and wealth and to have God in your life is to have honour. It didn’t starts today , that is how it had been, also that is how it will continue till the day of the Lord. And no human being nor spirit can change the institution He had instituted by Himself right from the foundation of the world.
To be rich is to be with God, if you are serving and worshipping God, you are not rich. Remember he makes both of them. According to 1 Chr. 29:12 concluded that Both riches and honour are from God.
12, Ornam
Ornam was also a rich man in the Bible, he donated his land and animals free of charge, for service of God to King David. But David refused and said that he cannot offer offering to God which didn’t cost him something. 1 Chronicles 21:21-24
21 And as David came to Ornam, Ornam looked and saw David and went out of the threshing floor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.
22 Then David said to Ornam, Grant me the place of this threshing floor that I may build an alter therein unto the Lord, you shall grant it me for the full price, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
23 And Ornam said unto David take it to yourself and let my lord the King do that which is good in his eyes. Lo I give you the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for the wood and the wheat for the meat offering, I give it all…
People who freely to the work of God are those who believe that God gave them to help others and for his service.
13, Barzillai
Barzillai was one of the great wealthy man in the Bible that used his wealth and supported kings, according to the book of 2 Samuel 19:32 which says that Now Barzillai was a very aged man even eighty years old and he had provided the King of substance while he lay at Mahanaim for he was a very great man. Which means if you want to be a man in life serve God with your riches and do that which other great people in the scripture had done. If you do likewise God bless you according to your heart desires as he did to Shunammite great woman.
14, Nabal
Nabal was one of the powerful wealthy people in the Bible, but he was wicked, embacked in wicked activities. But his wife , Abigail was a good woman because of spirit of God in her. Which means that her husband used his riches for evil purposes and not doing the work of God with it. And he later died, he wife, Abigail inherited his wealth, and later remarried to King David, and his wealth were converted to David’s own. Just as the book of prov.13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
1 Samuel 25:2-3
2 And there was a man in Maon whose possessions were in 🐫 carmels and the man was very great. And he had three thousand 🐑 sheep and a thousand 🐐 goats and he was shearing his sheep in carmel.
3 Now the name of the man was Nabal and the name of his wife Abigail and she was a woman of good understanding and of a beautiful countenance, but the man was churlish and evil in his doings and he was of the house of Caleb.
However God blesses and equally makes somebody rich and wealthy for the sake of other people. To help them in time of need or trouble or famine such as the cases of Abraham, Joseph, Jacob etc. But when God gave you such riches and you use it to do evil and maltreating those he brought around you to assist them. He will not hesitate or waste time to remove that person and place another. Either through death like Nabal or demotes him, like Nebuchadnezzar and take away the riches or kingdom like Solomon from him and give it to another. .
15, Solomon
2 Chronicles 1:12 God Himself said to Solomon that Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto you, I will give you riches and wealth and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before you neither shall there any after you have the like.
However after Solomon pleased God through prayers and God appeared to him in his dream and asked him what he wants in life. He replied wisdom. Then God was excited for his answer and from there He decided by Himself to make him wealthiest man on earth for life and special King which every other King must come to and bow down to.
1 Kings 3 stated that Solomon loved God and he was walking according to the statutes of his father, David. Because he knew that his father loved God and because of that love made God be with him and prospered him through out his life time. And equally made him a man after his own heart.
The first step of Solomon was offering sacrifices to God of his father.to the highest places. According to the book of 1 Kings 3:3-4
3 And Solomon loved the Lord and walking in the statutes of David his father only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.
4 And the King went to Gibeon to sacrifice there for that was the great high place , a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that alter.
However that was the first thing he did to serve God of his father. So that in return serve him as His son in future as he served his father. In one of my books, titled Nigeria law you must know. I said that everybody is a servant even God. Which means if you served God in one way or the other, God will serve you back. And God serving you does not mean that you will call Him your servant. No! It’s like a father taking care of his child, providing for him and doing everything for him. As his father doing that to him, will that make the child call his father his servant. No! That’s exactly what the Creator God does to His loved ones who are serving Him in spirit and truth.
So King Solomon served God like his father so that God will in future serve him in return of his service. That’s why satan asked God in their meeting with His sons, whether Job is following him for nothing? And that is, when you don’t serve God, He will not reciprocates your service to you in future. Just as it’s written whatever a man sow that you shall he reap also.
The second step of Solomon was to fulfill the promises his father David promised God to build His temple. That’s to draw God closer to himself. And whenever you go closer to God and He will go closer to you. Just as the book of James 4:8 said, draw near to God and He will draw Himself near to you. As soon as you draw near to Him, He will bless you according your heart desires. That’s the secret of making riches and wealth because you cannot go closer to God and He push you away. Never!
King Solomon prayed
2 Chronicles 1:9 Now, O Lord, God, let your promise unto David my father be established for you has made me King over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
Then if you read 2 Chronicles 9:13-27 you will see all the riches God ordered people every year to donate freely to him. However verse 13 says that Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty six talents of gold. (That was where the triple numbers 666 came from). That was God’s gifts to King Solomon yearly, of which without Him he couldn’t have gotten such favour from people. So the secret of becoming wealthy on earth is in the hands of God not really human beings nor government.

The book of Ecclesiastes 2:7-9
7 I got me servants and maidens and had servants born in my house and also I had great possessions of great and small 🐈 cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me.
8 I gathered me also silver and gold and the peculiar treasure of Kings and of the provinces, I gat me men singers and women singers and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments and that of all sorts.
9 So I was great and increased more than all they were before me in Jerusalem, also my wisdom remained with me.
You see I believe one thing, if you do that a great man did and became great, you too will be.
Further if you want to be wealthy like Solomon, be with God as he then was and God will be with you and make you what you wish yourself.

16, Menahem and Mighty men of wealth
Menahem and the men known as mighty men of wealth in the Bible. God made them wealthy men and they used it in the service of God. According to the book of 2 kings 15:20. Which says that And Menahem exacted the money of Israel , even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver to give to the king of Assyria. So that the king of Assyria turned back and stayed not there in the land.
17, Jehoshaphat
Jehoshaphat was a rich who left wealth for his children, according to the book of 2 Chronicles 17:1 said that Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in abundance and joined affinity Ahab. And 2 Chronicles 21:3 which says that And their father gave them great gifts of silver and of gold and of precious things with fenced cities in Judah, but the kingdom gave he to Jehor am because he was the first born.
18, Shunammite Woman
Shunammite Woman was one of the wealthy people in the Bible that built house for a man of God, Prophet Elisha and finished it. And the man parked in and later blessed her and her husband with a child. According to the book of 2 Kgs 4:8-11
8 And it fell on a day that Elisha passed to Shunem where was a great woman, and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in there to eat bread.
9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passed by us continually.
10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray you on the wall, and let us set for him there a bed and a table and a stool and a candlestick. And it shall be when he comes to us that he shall turn in there.
11 And it fell on a day that he came there and he turned into the chamber and lay there.
The great woman and her husband was blessed with a male child after they welcomed him and built house for him in their compound. Of which without that charity to they would have became childless throughout their lives. It was because the man of God was lying in that house made him to think what he can offer to the woman in return of her charity. And told his servant to call the woman, when she came Elisha asked her which area in her life he can help. The woman replied that she is well to do. Then Elisha asked Gehazi what then can we do to her? Gehazi replied that she he had no child and her husband is old. And Elisha sent Gehazi to call her, he went and called her. When the childless woman came Elisha said to her, About this season according to the life you shall embrace a son. And the woman said no, my lord you man of God, do not lie unto your handmaid. And later she conceived and gave birth of a baby boy, verses 12-17.
Note, the Shunammite Woman never helped a man of God because of any material thing but she did it because of love of God she had within her. And from there God saw her 💓 heart desire and blessed her with a baby boy at her old age when she had loosed hope of having a child.
19, Hezekiah
Hezekiah was a rich King that used his riches and served God in spirit and truth. And when he sick unto death, prophecy came came to him that he is going to die. He went to God in prayer. And explained to Him how good he was in doing His services. And God heard his prayers, later revised it and gave him more fifteen years to live ahead. According to 1 Kgs 20:11-21, verse 12 said that he handed over his possessions without withholding any.
Riches and wealth are the gifts of God
Riches and wealth are the gifts of God and he gives it to those he loves. And if he gives you the riches it is for you to take it serve and worship Him with all your heart, soul and might. And never expect you to use the wealth to destroy another or poor or innocent ones around you, but if you do he will take it out of your hands.

20, Roman Centurion
The Roman Centurion was a rich man an officer who built synagogue for service and worship of God, Luke 7:5.
21, Zacchaes
Zacchaes was one of the wealthy people in the Bible, according to Luke 19:8 which says that And Zacchaes stood and said unto the Lord, Behold Lord the half of my goods I give to the poor and I have if I have taken anything from anyman by false accusation I restore him fourfold.
You see nothing pleases God so much than to make use of the wealth He gave to serve and worship Him sincerely. By taking care of the widows, orphans, strangers and the poor. That’s people that cannot help themselves neither have any to help them.
According to the book of prov.19:17 which says that He that had mercy on the poor, lended to the Lord. And chapter 28:17 concluded that He that gives to the poor shall not lack. And Jesus said in matt.25: 34-40
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, come you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 For I was hungred and you gave me meat, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and took me in.
36 Naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me, and I was in prison and you came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answered him saying, Lord when did we saw hungred and fed you? Or thirsty and gave you drink?
38 When did we saw you a stranger and took you in? Or naked and clothed you?
39 Or when did we saw you sick or in prison and came unto you?
40 And King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you in as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me.
In above scriptures what Jesus was emphasizing there is that, the riches given to you by God is for his services, to help the poor he created to be poor on earth, just as Jesus said that you will have poor among you always, according to Matt.26:11.
22, Joanna, Susanna and others
Joanna, Susanna and others were counted as among the Rich and We people in the Bible, because they utilised their riches and supported the ministry of Jesus Christ on earth. According to the book of Luke 8:3 which says that And Joanna, the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward and Susanna and many others which ministered unto him of their substance.
23, Sorrowful Young Rich Man
The young rich man was sorrowful because he didn’t want to share his riches with the poor, according to the book of matt.19:21-22
21 Jesus said unto him, If you will be perfect, go and sell that you has and give to the poor and you shall have treasure in heaven and come and follow me.
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful for he had great possessions. You see stinginess, not helping the lessprivilleged people in the society will lead many rich people to hell 🔥 fire in the last day. Therefore, you must be careful, serve God with your riches.
23, Joseph of Arimathae
Joseph of Arimathae was also rich man who served God with his riches, according to Matt. 27: 57 which says that When the even was come there came a rich man of Arimathae, named Joseph who also was Jesus’ disciple. He was the man who buried the body of Jesus with his riches. See verses 58-60.
24, Joses
Joses known as Barnabas was a rich man who sold his land and handed it over to the apostles for the progress of the work of God, according to the book of Acts 4: 36-37.
25, Ananias and Sapphirah
Ananias and his wife Sapphirah also sold their land as they promised the apostles that if they sold the land they will use it to support. But they sold it and allowed satan entered in them and told lies. And withheld some parts of the money which took their lives instantly. According to the book of Acts 5:1-10.
26, Dorcas
Dorcas was a woman that loved God with her riches, supported the apostles both with money and materials. And she paid special attention to widows in the church. To the extent when she died all the widows gathered, called Peter and other apostles to pray for her. And they prayed to God with tears, He answered and brought her back to life, according to Acts 9:36-39.
God counts so much on what you are doing with the riches He has given you. God never made you rich to eat it and enjoy it alone. And if you eat it alone with the members of your family, you wouldn’t be happy at all neither have extra ordinary joy givers are enjoying in their various lives. Because the extra joy and happiness you enjoy is the testimonies of those you did good to. That tell how good are charity you to them. You see the best happiness is happiness others made you not the one you made yourself.
27, Cornelius
Cornelius the alms giver, was a soldier, a centurion and a rich man. He feared God, gave alms to the poor, pray and fast always despite his riches. And as a result of his alms given, prayers and God noticed him. And sent His angel to him which connected to apostle Peter. And Peter went, prayed for him, his family and also baptized them. And they received the gift of Holy Ghost that very day according to Acts 10: 4 which says that And when he looked on him, he was afraid and said. What is it Lord? And the angel said unto him. Your prayers and your alms are come up come for a memorial before God.
The joy you derive from your riches is ones you give to the poor who pray for you every day. Having riches and eating it alone is like only you watching football or drama on television in house which you cannot enjoy because it’s only you.
In Summary,
By the direction of Jesus His disciples catch great multitude of 🎏 fishes
By the direction of Jesus Simon and others cought great multitude of fish which they couldn’t catch on their own or by their strength. And they cought such multitude of fish because of the presence of God in them. That’s equivalent of making riches and wealth by the power of God in your life and business.
Luke 5:4-7
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep end let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him Master we have toiled all the night and have taken nothing, nevertheless at your word I will let down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
Feeding of the multitude with little fishes and five loaves of bread
Jesus feeding of the multitude with little fishes and seven loaves of bread is another example of making one rich and wealthy with little money or goods you have in your business.
Mark 8:5-8
5 And he asked them, How many loaves have you? And they said, seven.
6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves and gave thanks and brake. And gave to His disciples to set before them and they did set them before the people.
7 And they had a few small fishes and he blessed and commanded to set them also before them.
8 So they did eat and were filled and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.
Think again Jesus paid tax through the money he commanded his apostles to go and get from fish’s mouth in the river. And Jesus turning water into 🍷 wine is equivalent of turning your dying business alive again without stress.
Elisha multipled oil by the power of God
And multiplying of oils by Elisha for the wife of late prophet that was owing some one and died, was also multiplying of riches and wealth to people God created to rich in life and on earth.
2 Kgs 4 5-7
5 So she went from him and shut the door upon herself and her sons, who brought the vessels to her and she poured out.
6 And it came to pass when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son. Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her. There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil and pay your debt and live you and your children of the rest.
All the above facts proves that no human being becomes rich or wealthy by accident or by himself or another without God. Therefore if you are desiring to be rich and wealthy believe in God, serve and worship Him in spirit and truth. Prov.13:11 concluded that Wealth gotten by varnity shall be diminished, but by labour shall increase
