The king’s Holy Bible will teach you the secret of the kings in the Bible, equally teach you that no one becomes King, a leader on his own without God’s anointing and establishment on earth. If you becomes King on your own without God. You are bound to fall or die sudden death. And also none of them can become a good King without pleasing and doing the will of God or keeping His commandments.

Kings never make themselves but God first anointed them over their people. On the otherβœ‹ hand people confirm them King to rule over them and control their affairs. For example, King Saul was chosen by God and anointed by prophet Samuel according to God’s direction, to rule the people of Israel, according to 1 Samuel 9.

And also King David was chosen by God and anointed by the same Samuel, according to 1 Samuel 16 :11-13.

And even King Solomon was chosen by God and anointed by Zadok the priest, according to 1 Kgs 1:39. Although chosen by God does not mean that their people will not confirm also their kingship. No! God speaks the minds of God and they must follow His order. Kings , they rule from there in order to make the people follow them, to please themselves and also God Who established them. And even attimes kings make the people to please only themselves and displease God deliberately or intentionally which makes God to punish and dethrone them or kill them and their families and put another. That’s the reason of Deutronomy 17:16-19 which is known as seven commandments of the kingdom.

16 He shall not multiply horses to himself. You will not cause the people to return to Egypt. To the end that he should multiply horses, for as much as the Lord had said unto you. You shall henceforth return no more that way.

17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away, neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.

18 And it shall be when he sitted upon the throne of his kingdom that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Livites.

19 And it shall be with him and he shall read therein all the days of his life, that he may do learn to fear the Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes to them.

No King can please God without His commandments and that’s the essence of making the law for you to keep in order to please Him

Can you please your school authority without it’s rules, or the leaders of your country without it’s laws. That’s how it’s with the Creator.

You see no King on earth can please God outside his commandments. To please God is to keep his commands. And as soon as you deviat from it you have sinned against Him which puts you in trouble immediately. And to come out of that troubles is repent, confess your sins and surrender your life to Him. That’s only way you can regain your relationship with Him immediately and have your peace of mind back. Then think of King David what he did after prophet Nathan ministered to him his sin against God after he killed Uriah and took his wife, 2 Samuel 12:1-13. And king Nebuchadnezzar after eating grasses like an animals in the bush for seven years, Daniel 4.

However after God created Adam the first thing he gave him was His commandments, Gen. 2:16-17. And the purpose God gave him that commandments is him and his wife Eve learn how to fear Him just as I said above to fear the Lord or obey Him is to keep His commands. Then you saw what happened to Adam and Eve after violation of the ordinance of God, according to Gen .3. That is the reason of Deutronomy 17: 16-19. Then verses 19-20 listed the purpose of given them His commandments. Which includes;

1, to learn how to fear the Lord

2, to learn how to keep the commandments

3, to learn how to humble themselves

4, to learn how to maintain the commandments and follow it

5, to enable them live, enjoy long life and leadership

6, to learn how to keep their keep or preserve their kingdom in future and

7 at the end their children will be blessed and inherit their wealth

God is King of Kings, appoints king s and demotes them, in the same manner He makes the rich and poor. And abase the rich and raise the poor to be rich. See Wealthy People’s Bible. He is that he is, He does whatever he likes or pleases Him and nobody can cough or ask Him any question. For instance, it’s not by my power nor might but by the spirit of God I was inspired to write on this Bible Topical Series. But he did that to make use of it to draw many souls to His kingdom around the world.

The purpose God gave the kings the commandments

The purpose God gave the kings the commandments is to enable them control themselves and be contents of whatever they have. And follow the commands so that they will not mislead the people they are ruling. So that they will not divert the wealth of the people to their private use. That’s the reason, it’s written you shall not multiply horses to yourself. You shall not multiply wives to yourself because marrying many wives can mislead the king not to worship his God and his people. Because kings carry their wives along in their rulership. And the law commanded them not to multiply silver and gold for themselves but they can do that for the welfare of the people, they are ruling for their betterment and entire nation. Elisha multipled oil for the widow her husband left debts behind and died, 2 Kgs 4. And Jesus multipled 🍞 bread and 🎏 fishes for His hungry followers, Matt. 15. And God also instructed them to reproduce the commandments, have their own copies and distribute to their people including teaching them. So that they will know it and obey it willingly. You see that God commanded the kings to teach the people the law to enable them know it and obey it. But today the political leaders don’t care whether the people know the country’s law or not. Even the judges are not care also rather they are busy in courts judging the ignoramuses and jailing them. Which God warned the kings to teach the people His commandments. They are warned that they should not allow or permits a stranger who is not among the people of Israel. Because a stranger do not know the land nor people or commandments of God.

God created the world to be involved in the leadership of it

God created the world to be involved in the leadership of it and He never made it and step aside and said human beings take over and do whatever you like. God never said such according to Exodus 20:1-3 which says that;

1 And God said all these words and saying.

2 I am the Lord your God which brought you out of the land of Egypt and out of the land of bondage.

You shall have no other gods before Me.

However looking at the kings of Israel you will see that God did not created the world for the people to rule or manage for themselves without Him, the supreme being. And the kings did not saw it that way, that was the reason some of them pleases by keeping His commandments and some broke it and disapleased Him and deed evil in His sight. Further looking at the dramas of God and the kings, you will see that God created the world to be involved in the leadership of it, as the Creator, Lord, God and the Director of it.

That’s God wants to rule,

He wants to control,

He wants to direct,

He wants to be served,

He wants to be worshipped,

He wants to be honored,

He wants to be feared,

He wants to be called upon daily,

to be listened to,

to be believed upon,

to be trusted upon,

to be relied upon,

to be followed,

to be remembered,

to be beared in mind every day

to be consulted and enquired upon for everything you want to do both for yourself and the nation. For example the loss of the father of Saul’s asses, after looking for it at many places and they could not saw it. The next thing that entered in their minds was. Let us go and see a Seer in order to consult or enquire from God about the loss of the asses. According to the book of 1 Samuel 9: 6 which says, And he said unto him, Behold now there is in this city a man of God and he is honourable man, all that he said comes surely to pass, now let us go there, so that he will show us our way. That is exactly what God wants from the kings , in everything enquire from him. Joshua made such great mistake in his own time welcomed unknown people in the name of the Lord God and took oath without first enquire from Him whether the people were telling him truth or lies. Joshua 9:14-19. Verse 20 said, This we will do to them, we will even let them live, to avoid wrath be upon us because of the oath which we sware unto them.

So when you are a king, doing things without putting Him first, without drawing His attention or calling Him to come, direct, lead and take control. You are bound to fail or crash or even die with your family for neglecting Him as Lord and your God. That’s why He destroyed the world of Noah, scattered the tongue of the people at the tower of Babel, building tower without consulting Him. Killed the family of Ahab in one day.. That’s the reason the king who understood Him never carry any task without Him. In any issue you must enquire from Him whether good or evil, go or don’t , do or don’t.That’s the major reason He exposed Himself to human beings on earth nothing else, through angels, prophets, dreams, visions, revelations and trance. Because of neglect king Solomon neglected His commandments, He cursed Israel, divided them, scattered them and finally handed them over to their enemies. And caued other nations to took them captives. That neglect made Him killed some kings with their families and closed their chapters in one day. But whenever you recognize Him, serve, worship, destroy idols and worshippers and everything concerning them. He will love you, come to you, eat with you, help you, prosper you and family, for your sake protect your nation and destroy your enemies and put them into shame.

That is exactly what proved that God did not made the earth and finally handed it over to mankind or kings to control without Him. You see if you put God first into your life, He will becomes first and last in your life. 1 Samuel 16:7 says, … For the Lord sees not as man is seeing. For man looks on the outward appearance but the Lord looks in the heart. And Isaiah 55:8 God said, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, said the Lord. Verse 9 added, For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Why Kings Abandon God’s Commandments?

The question is why Kings prefer to abandon the Commandments of God and serve god He hates? You see, they prefer to serve other gods which do not correct them from their evil ways. They don’t love the Commandments of God that will tell them that you should not multiply horses, wives wealth for yourselves, learn the Commandments reproduce it and teach your people. They forgot that when you forget God He will also forget you and if you abandon Him He will also abandon you. 1 Samuel 15:26 … For you has rejected the word of the Lord and the Lord had rejected you from being King over Israel.

King Saul never beared in mind that God will reject him and abandon him after his acts. As soon as you sin against God He will immediately sees you as His enemy.

Kings In The Bible

1, King Saul

King Saul was the first King of the people of Israel. The people as result of fear of war and other nations were haven king but they have none. As a result they demanded a king from Samuel. And complaint to God what the people were in need of a king. And God in His own way choosed king Saul for them and Samuel met through the loss of his father’s asses. And Saul never beared in mind to be the king of Israel, neither knew that God is going to making a king.

Israel demanded a king

1 Samuel 8:4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together and came to Samuel at Ramah.

Verse 5 And said unto him , Behold you are old and your sons walk not in your ways, now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.

It’s never in the mind of God to give them a king at that particular period of time. But because of fear and looking at other nations made them to demand of a king. Note they didn’t go to Samuel to enquire first whether they should have king or not, but they only saw Samuel as old man and his children not following the footsteps of their father. That’s finding faults and never remember or bear God in mind to lead them as He led forefathers. That’s why in verse 6 Samuel weren’t happy over their request. Which says that But the thing displeased Samuel when said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord.

And in verse 7 God saw it as rejection, they have rejected God not Samuel. Because when they were asking of a king to rule them they were asking of kingdom.

a, in verses 11-18 The people of Israel stated the features or terms of the king.

b, In verses 18-20 The people of Israel concluded their choice of the king.

c, In verses 21-22 The people of Israel concluded their instructions for the king and God accepted their ideas of having a king.

d, In 1 Samuel 9 verses 1-2 Saul merited to be a king because of his statures which the people of Israel desired.

e, In verse 3 God of Israel started working which brought the lost of Kish’s asses.

which is like the hatred of Joseph and his brethren which made them sold him off from the family so that he will die there. Without knowing that they are working for the fulfillments of his dreams. As well as the death of Lazarus, Lazarus must die, buried and come back to life. So that the people of Judaeh will hear the gospel, repent and believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Asses of the father of Saul must got loss, Saul must look for it, must go the Seer and must meet Samuel for Saul to become a king of Israel.

f, In verses 3-5 Saul was sent by his father to look for the lost asses.

g, In verses 6-14 God leads Saul to Samuel through the advise of his father’s servant.

h, God told Samuel about Saul’s coming to him according to verses 15-16

15 Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear a day before Saul came, saying.

16 Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man out of the land of Benjamin and you shall anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines, for I have looked upon my people because their cry is come unto me.

According to the above scripture God choosed Saul but he didn’t choose God who choosed him unknowingly to him later in the day of his life. .

i, In verses 17- 19 Samuel saw Saul and God introduced Saul to him

j, In verses 20-27 Saul demanded from Samuel to know about his father lost asses. Samuel told him that asses have been found. Indirectly as Saul was looking for the asses of his father that is how the people of Israel were looking for a king. And God used that methods of looking for the asses to confirmed him a king through Samuel.

k, In 1 Samuel 10 Samuel anointed Saul as the king of the people of Israel.

However God’s anointing is anointing of His spirit into the anointed which made Saul Prophecied and his old life of an ordinary person changed as instrument of God that can do and undo. Just like when the spirit of God entered into Samson his life changed and he began to make impossible to other people possible. That was exactly what happened to Saul that day Samuel anointed him. The same thing with David when he was anointed he received the spirit of God which gave him power extra ordinarily to kill Goliath with ordinary sling and stone without looking at back, nor listen to his brothers, that saw him as small boy. Even Jesus didn’t walked inside the wilderness and began to pray and fast, but He was led the spirit of God according to Matt. 4:1. The same thing with his apostles, the day of Pentecost was the day they received mass Holy Ghost inform of tongue of Fire πŸ”₯ and after that experience all of them became so bold and fearless to preach the gospel, according to Acts 2.

Versr 6 summarized that And the spirit of the Lord will come upon you and you shall prophesy with them and shall be turned into another man.

Saul prophesied

Verse 10 And when they came there to the hill, behold a company of prophets met him and spirit of God came upon him and he prophesied among them.

And 1 Samuel 11:6-7 which says that

6 And the spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings and his anger was kindled greatly.

7 And he took a yoke of oxen and hewed them in pieces and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying whosoever comes not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the Lord fell on the people and they came out with one consent.

God’s Empowerment to Saul

God empowered Saul with prophet Samuel, a seer who then connected him to really God of Israel, which he never knew his house before.

i, His spirit,

ii, Power of prophecy,

iii, Turned his heart to another man,

iv, God was with him and

v. God gave him another heart.

When God choosed you to work with Him, He will give you His spirit for protection, to enable you succeed and conquer every other power or battle on earth. That’s exactly what the political leaders lack in their various lives. And if you disappoint Him by committing sin or breaking His commandments, the first thing He will do is to withdraw His spirit from you.

The Sins Of King Saul

1 Samuel 13:1-12 and verses 13- 14 said,

The first sin King Saul committed unto the Lord and against Samuel

He committed sin of taken the office of prophet Samuel whom God used to choosed and anointed him a king. That is he offered illegal sacrifice to God which is not in his position but in the position and duty of Samuel. According to verse 12 which says that Therefore said I The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgai and I have not made supplication unto the Lord. I forced myself therefore and offered a burnt offering.

Samuel saw Saul’s act as foolishly.

13 And Samuel said to Saul, You has done foolishly, you had not kept the Commandments of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, for now would the Lord have established your kingdom upon Israel for ever.

14 But now your kingdom shall not continue, the Lord had sought Him a man after His own heart and the Lord had commanded him to be captain over His people, because you had not kept that which the Lord commanded you.

The second sin of Saul

The first was he took the office of Samuel as a result of the people of the Philistines and offered unwanted sacrifice unto the Lord. And the second he rejected the words of the Lord and listened to the words of the people. According to the 1 Samuel 15:6-9.

6 And Saul said unto the Kenitee, Go depart, get you down from among the Amalekites to avoid destroying you with them, for the for you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

7 And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until you come to Shur that is over against Egypt.

8 And he took Agag the King of the Amalekites alive and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

9 But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep πŸ‘ and of the oxen and the fatlings and the lamb and all that was good and would not utterly destroy them, but everything that was vile and refuse that they destroyed utterly.

God saw Saul that he had broken His commandments and told Samuel

10 Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel saying.

11 It repented Me that I have set up Saul to be King. For he is turned back from following Me and had not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel and he cried unto the Lord all night.

God saw the sin of Saul and told Samuel

When Saul broke the commandments, God it and told Samuel, he cried to God throughout the night. And Saul confessed to Samuel that it was the people that misled him to preserved those things and the king according to verses 20-21.

20 And Saul said unto Samuel, yes. I have obeyed the voice of the Lord and have gone the way which the Lord sent me and have brought Agag the King of Amalekites and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed to sacrifice unto the Lord your God in Gilgai.

God didn’t forgive Saul his sins after confessions

Saul confessed his sins to Samuel that he had sinned and demanded for forgiveness according to verses 24-25

24 And Saul said unto Samuel I have sinned, for I have transgressed the Commandments of the Lord and your words because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

25 Now therefore I pray you pardon my sin and turn again with me that I may worship the Lord.

Saul confessed again to Samuel

30 Then Saul said I have sinned yet honour me now I pray you before the elders of my people and before Israel and turn again with me that I may worship the Lord your God.

Samuel never forgive Saul nor God

Samuel never forgive Saul nor God but Samuel said in verses 22-23 that;

22 And Samuel said, Had the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold to obey is better than sacrifice and to heard than the fat of rams

23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you had rejected the word of the Lord and He had also rejected you from being King.

However as Samuel continued mourning Saul as if he was dead, God was searching within Himself another to replace him. He found David in the bush where he was rearing his father’s animals, a son of Jesse. And asked Samuel how long will you mourn Saul in chapter 16 verse 1. instructed him to trace him and anoint him.

Samuel anointed David

According 1 Samuel 16:13 which says that Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brethren and the spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward.

And that was how God choosed David from the bush and anointed him King Israel

Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul

As soon as David was anointed as a king the spirit of the Lord entered into him and departed from Saul from being a king of Israel from that day. According to verse 14.

14 But the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.

Saul’s servants saw evil spirit tormenting Saul

15 And Saul’s servants said unto him Behold now an evil spirit from God troubled you.

In summary

In summary God choosed Saul and equally demoted him because of his negligence of His commandments. He intruded himself into Samuel’s office, listened to the people, feared and obeyed them instead of God who called him. Although before his establishment of his kingdom people of Israel demanded to have a king to Samuel, he cried to God and He choosed Saul and anointed him a King. You see that Saul thought that the people made him King for fearing and obeying them instead of God who established him, empowered him with His spirit. King Saul weren’t in the spirit at all that was the first reason he went, offered sacrifice to God and without Samuel direction do or don’t. He feared the people thinking that he can lead them without God the Creator of the people of Israel. That was exactly what happened to Adam and Eve they weren’t in spirit but flesh. That is why you can’t eat and drink to your satisfaction and please God, never! Even David also sinned because of he was in the flesh. If you are always in prayer and fasting through holy Spirit direction you cannot infringe the Commandments of God who choosed, empowered you with His spirit. God never created the world and hands off to human beings to take total or absolutely control of it. No! The day you break the commandments of God, is the day you broke your life and future entirely.

2, King David

King David was the second king of Israel after King Saul. and he began to reign at the age of thirty years old. He reigned for forty years in Hebron, over Judah seven years and six months. And he reigned in Jerusalem for thirty three years over Israel and Judah, according to 2 Samuel 5:4-5.

However during David’s reign he tried his best to please God but his best weren’t enough without been in the flesh which made him committed criminal acts. That took the life of Uriah and took his wife according to 2 Sam. 11:4-27. But God pleased God through praises and thanksgivings which gave birth of the book of Psalms. No matter how you love God if you infringe His commandments you will pay for it especially when you break His commandments intentionally, he intentionally killed Uriah so that he will remarried the wife. And God didn’t clapped βœ‹ His hands for him because before he was anointed by Samuel God called him a man after His own heart.

Israel loved David

Even when David was weak they encouraged him to continue leading them, according to 2 sam.5:1-2 which says that;

1 Then came all the tribes of Israel to David at Hebron and said, behold we are your bone and your flesh.

2 Also in time past when Saul was King over us you was he that led us out and brought us in Israel. And the Lord said to you. You shall feed my people Israel and you shall be a captain over Israel.

David was anointed by the elders of Israel

According to verse 3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron and King David made a league with them in Hebron before the Lord and they anointed him David King over Israel.

4 David was thirsty years old when he began to reign and he reigned forty years.

God forgave David his sins that is why it’s written that David did that which was right in the sight of the Lord. And did not turned outside the commandments all the days of his life. Execpt only Uriah’s wife he took after he killed her husband, according to 2 Sam. 11:27 And when the mourning was past David sent and fetched her to his house and she became his wife and bare him a son… God forgived him but he suffered the consequences of intentional sin he committed.

In summary

God saw David before his anointing that he is a man after his own heart, but along the line, King David failed God when he was in the flesh. Just as it’s written in Gal.6:8 Which says that He that sows in the flesh shall reap of the flesh into corruption. At that very moment of David he was in the flesh and when you are in the flesh you are bound to forget things of the Spirit. And thereafter sin after God. That is you cannot be committed in prayer and fasting and still fail God. It impossible!

3, King Solomon

3, Solomon was the third King that ruled the people of Israel at a very tender age and through his rulership the curses their forefather, Jacob began manifesting and after him there was no more among the people of Israel. According to the book of Gen. 49:5-7

5 Simeon and Levi are brethren instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.

6 O my soul come not you into their secret, unto their assembly my honor be not you united, for in their anger they slew a man and in their selfwill they digged down a well.

7 Cursed be their anger for it was fierce and their wrath, for it was cruel, I will divide in Jacob and scatter them in Israel.

King Solomon thought he was in charge but he weren’t. He didn’t committed sin against God with his clear mind rather the spirit of curse was working in him to destroy him and entire Israel as Jacob cursed them above.

King David took oath before the Lord that his son Solomon will become King of Israel after him, according to the book of 1 Kings 2:45 which says that So King Solomon shall be blessed and the throne of David shall be established before the Lord forever. And in verse 7 chapter 3 Solomon confirmed it through his prayer. And now O Lord my God you has made your servant King instead of David my father and I am but a little child. I know not how to go out or come in.

Solomon Took The Steps Of His Father

King Solomon took the humble steps of his father, both serving, worshipping and pleasing the Lord which made God appeared to him in dream after he offered sacrifices at the highest places which his father did not go. At night God appeared to him in dream and tell him to ask whatever he wants in life. And replied wisdom. And God was pleased with his answer and gave him power to control every spirit and acquire everything he wants in life. See 1 Kings 3, chapters 6&7.

Solomon sinned

Whenever you have unlimited spiritual power you can do and undo. That’s if you can control human beings’ thought or mind you can control the world and nothing shall be impossible to you. That was the state Solomon found himself.

Verse 6 of chapter 11 1 Kgs said that And Solomon did evil in the sight of the Lord and not fully after the Lord as his father David did. Verse 3 enumerated the wives of Solomon seven hundred wives , princesses of kings’daughters and three hundred concubines and his wives turned his heart away from the Lord.

His wives turned his heart because the curses Jacob cursed them was about to start manifesting in lives of the children of Israel, if not that curse the women wouldn’t have that power to turn the heart πŸ’“ of Solomon God had appeared to twice in his dreams. According to the book of Gen. 49: 5-7 which says that;

5 Simeon and Levi are brethren instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.

6 O my soul come not you into their secret, unto their assembly my honor be not you united, for for in their anger they slew a man and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.

7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce and their wrath for it was cruel, I will divide them in Jacob, that in the rulership of Solomon and scatter them in Israel, that is rulership of his son and his servant.

Apart from the curses Jacob cursed his first son Reuben for defilement of his bed according to verses 3-4 which says that;

3 Reuben you are my firstborn, my might and beginning of my strength, the end of power.

4 Unstable as water you shall not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed and defiled it. So curse contributed in the misleading of King Solomon. He thought that he was in charge but he weren’t. The curses Prayers of Moses in the book Deutronomy 33:6-27 couldn’t erased. That is God hardened King Solomon’s heart in the same manner He hardened King Pharoah’s heart πŸ’“ in Egypt in the time of Moses. Solomon never thought of confessing his sins to God for His forgiveness rather he thought of killing his prophet Ahijah had prophesied that would take over ten tribes of Israel and his son one tribe because of David’s and Jerusalem’s sake. According to 1 Kgs 11:11 which says that Wherefore the Lord said unto Solomon for as much as this is done of you and you had not kept my covenant and my statutes which I have commanded you, I will surely rend the kingdom from you and give it to your servant. And verse 12 continued Not withstanding in your days I will not do it for David your father’s sake, but I will it out of your the hand βœ‹ of your son. Verse 13 says, I will not rend away all the kingdom but will give one tribe to your son for David my servant’s sake and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.

However because of the consequences of the curses of Jacob which is unfolding God never pity for Solomon nor the children of Israel He went immediately and stirred the enemies of Solomon to destroy him and his people Israel. According to verses 14 and 23 which says that;

14 And the Lord stirred up an adversary unto Solomon Hadad the Edomite he was of king’s seed in Edom.

23 And God stirred him up another adversary Rezon the son Eliadah which fled from his lord Hadadezer King of Zobah.

Instead of King Solomon will fall on the ground like his father and ask for forgiveness after the prophecy of Ahijah he went forth to kill his servant God had already ordained King of ten tribes of Israel. According to verse 40 which says that Solomon sought to kill Jeroboam and Jeroboam arose and fled into Egypt unto Shishak King of Egypt and was there until Solomon died.

In summary

During the time of King Solomon the curses Jacob cursed his children started unfolding and finally God divided the kingdom spiritually through the prophecy of prophet Ahijah as Jacob cursed them. For God did judges the children because sins of their fathers and the leaders. Just as God killed the people of Israel because of census King David conducted during his own period. Instead of God will kill Solomon for his sins but He didn’t and preferred to punish and killed the people according to the book of Exodus 20 Commandments of God.

4, King Rehoboam

People never understand that God chooses Kings that will work and walk with Him. That is the major reason kings fail , God will get angry with them , destroys their people and finally removed them either dead or alive.

Rehoboam was the first King of Judah and Benjamin, the Solomon and through his ruler-ship the people of Israel scattered into two parts, order to accomplished the prophecy of prophet Ahijah in 1kgs 11:29-40. And manifested the curses of Jacob he angrily Cursed some of his children which included Reuben, Simeon and Lev i.in Gen. 49:

However Rehoboam been the first son of Solomon was not expected to do well in the service of God because no first son had ever succeeded in the work of God in the bible. Even Adam failed been the first son of God, Adam his own first son also failed that was Cain who killed his younger brother the chosen child of God. Looking at the bible critically you can see that Isaac weren’t the first son of Abraham, Jacob weren’t the first son of Isaac rather Esau. Joseph also weren’t the first son of Jacob but Reuben, even David weren’t first son, the man after God’s own heart. Because the first son of every man on earth is expected to take throne of his father, so they cannot be in their fathers’ thrones and at the same time be in the throne of God Almighty. It was only Jesus that was the first son of his father that succeeded in the service of God and looking Him very well you see that he never participated in the earthly things in the name of His father Joseph, husband of virgin Mary.

However when King Solomon died his son Rehoboam took over the kingdom of Israel. And the elders of Israel who worked with his father went to him and advised him to reduce his hand from the heavy burdens his father Solomon laid upon them. So that they can serve him better than his father. Then he told them to come back in the next three days and the elders left. And King went and consulted the group he grew up with and tabled the matter the elders of Israel brought before him. That they are demanding from him to reduce the wicked load his father laid upon them. His young group advised that if his father used stick on them then himself should scorpions on them.

Rehoboam went home and told the elders of Israel that if his father Solomon used a stick on them, then himself shall use scorpions. When the elders heard that they shouted, became angry and said to your houses O Israel, according to 1 Kgs 12:1-16. That was where the kingdom of Israel divided which is the manifestation of curses of Jacob to his children.

King Rehoboam Thought that He Was In Charge but he weren’t

Rehoboam thought that he was in charge, he weren’t but God, He was manifesting His words and at the same period manifesting the curses of Jacob their father laid on them. That is to prove to them that the mouth of their father is mouth of God, as well as the words of your father is words of God. Which no human being neither any creature can change nor turn it down. Just as He said in Isaiah 55:8- 11 Which says that

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways said the Lord.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain comes down and the snow from heaven and cannot return there but watered the earth and fertilized it, give seed to the sower or farmer and bread to the eater.

11 finalized that So shall my word be that goes out of my mouth, it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish which I please and it shall prosper in the thing where I sent it.

Rehoboam mobilized for unity but God rejected it

In the beginning of the reign of Rehoboam he mobilized the people of Judah and Benjamin to fight for the unity of the Israel but God said no, according to the same 1 Kgs 12:24 The Lord said that You shall not go up nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel, return every man to his house, for this thing is from Me. They heard the word of the Lord and returned according to the word of the Lord.

Judah Reigned As Jacob Blessed Him

If your father bless you, you are blessed by God

The land of Judah began to reign as the best and highest nation among his brethren which is the fulfillment of the blessings of their father Jacob blessed Judah because of the positive roles he played during the time his brethren wanted to kill Joseph. According to the same book of Gen.49:8-12 which says that;

8 Judah you are whom your brethren shall praise, your hands shall be in the neck of your enemies. And your father’s children shall bow down before you.

9 Judah is a lion’s whelp from the prey, my son you are gone up, he stooped down, he couched as a lion and as an old lion, who shall rouse him up?

10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah nor a lawgiver from between his until Shiloh come. And unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

11 Binding his foal unto the vine and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine and he washed his garments in wine and his clothes in the blood of grapes.

12 His eyes shall be red with wine and his teeth white with milk.

The roles Judah played in the life of Joseph helped him fulfilled his God’s given dreams, the call of God in his life. Which is the will of God in order to protect and preserve the life of a covenanted man, Jacob the son of Isaac and off string of Abraham from famine. That is from that moment the land of Judah became a reigning city and seat of power of Rehoboam, he was called king of Judah and Jeroboam king of Israel ruling from the land of Ephraim, 1 kgs 12:25.

King Rehoboam sinned and misled Israel

According to the book of 1 Kgs 14 :21-22 which says that;

21 And Rehoboam the son Solomon reigned in Judah and was forty one years old when he began to reign . And he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem the city which the Lord did choose out of the tribes of Israel, to put His name there…

22 And Judah did evil in the sight of the Lord and provoked Him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed above all their fathers had done.

In Summary

In the time of Rehoboam the son of Solomon the kingdom of Israel was divided as God said it which is the manifestations of the curses and blessings Jacob poured on his children at his old age. The king Solomon led the Israelites to sin against God and served other gods which is abominations before the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Israel. And He got angry and stirred the enemies which came and looted or carried away treasures in the house of the Lord, according to 1 Kgs 14:25-27

5, king Jeroboam

King Jeroboam was a mighty servant of king Solomon and was doing well more than the children of Solomon. And he found favor in the sight of the Lord which made Him sent prophet Ahijah to him. And prophet Ahijah the shilonite found him on the way and was wearing a new garment and both of them were alone on the way . The prophet cut hold of his new garment tore it into twelve pieces for God said to king Solomon that He shall divide the kingdom of Isarel out of the hand of Solomon and will give you ten tribes .And he shall have one tribe because of his father’s sake David and Jerusalem . because he choosed other gods and served and worshipped them and refused to serve me as David his father did. He will take all the kingdoms from him and make prince all the days of his life because of David .Who kept His commandments and His statutes. He will give his son one tribe so that there will be light always before him in Jerusalem which had choosed to put His name . And Jeroboam shall do according to all that his soul desires and shall be king of Israel if he shall hear His voice and keep His commandments as David his father did and He will be with you as He was with David. And when Solomon heard these prophecy he sought to kill Jeroboam but he ran away to Egypt and he was there until he died, according to 1 Kgs 11;26-43.

Jeroboam Was Made King Of IsraelJeroboam came back after the death of King Solomon his master, when the elders of the people of Israel heard that they invited him to their general assembly. And he went and they made him king of Israel, that is ten tribes of Israel in the fulfillment of the word of God through prophet Ahijah. And when Rehoboam king of Judah heard that he organised his armies to go and disorganize and destroy Jeroboam and his leadership, but God stopped him through prophet Shemaiah that brethren should not fight themselves, God allowed their division, according to 1 Kgs 12:20-24. However Jeroboam became king and misled the people of Israel by created molded animals as the God that saved and delivered his forefathers from the bondage of Egyptians. He did that in order to confuse them and stop the people of Israel from going to Jerusalem for sacrifices , believing that if they go there they will leave him and follow king Rehoboam the son king Solomon. That was the costliest sin he sinned against God who choosed him and made a king of ten tribes of Israel. You see, King Jeroboam forgot God who choosed him and made him and told grave lies that molded or calved thing delivered the people of Israel from the land of Egypt. A servant , he was no body and made him became body, a king of ten nations, but he felled himself and God his maker. Because he was not prayerful ,neither care to pray to God nor care to inquire from Him who established him, that was the reason he fought young prophet from the land of Judah God sent to him. And after his prophecy in his alter Jeroboam raised his hand up to beat him up but his hand dried up instantly and hanged up lie that, until he cried to the prophet , he prayed to God and He restored his hand back. see 1 Kgs 13:6. This reminded me one night I was in dream, appeared in a shrine and a half necked woman appeared also tied white cloth. And as soon as she saw me she raised her hand up with boom to flog me. and I shouted Jesus once her hand hanged up lie that dried. Immediately I heard a song singing from heaven, which says, Ike di na elu. Ike di na la. Ike di na ebe ni le. Ma nke Jesus kari ri ya. Which means in English ; there is power above. power on earth. And there is power everywhere but the power in the name of Jesus is more than all of them and I woke up. King Jeroboam abandoned the God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Israel the God of heaven that choosed him out of nothing a servant and made him King, misled the people to worship the gods of their hands and established evil foundation which all the whole kings after followed and God promised him destruction in his and his family future. The same thing with king Saul God choosed in the same manner, from the lowest family and kindred. And he also forgot God that choosed him out of nobody to somebody , began to fear the Philistines and elders of Israel. Which made him to neglected prophet Samuel instead to call him called him offer sacrifice he went on his own and offered unwanted sacrifice which hates. And neglected the word of God which made him refused to destroy totally the people of Amalekites and everything there but preserved some for sacrifice which God also hates. Then because of his disobedience God closed His doors of dreams, prophecies and inquiry against him. He became more afraid instead of running to God, he to a witch to invoke Samuel out for him which God also hates. And God promised him destruction which He both him and his sons and armor-bearer died in one day. However the same thing happened to King Solomon God loved, appeared to him twice and promised everything and also gave him wisdom and everything other things which he did not ask also. But at the end king Solomon abandoned God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Israel, God of his father David and served gods, the gods of his wives. It’s very bad! He never remember how God appeared to him in dream twice in life because he weren’t prayerful neither fasting like his father David. Rather he was committed in teaching and research which he allowed to took all his prayer time. With my experience, it’s very hard, difficult to serve God with prayer and fasting, see Prayer Warriors’ Bible.

The Question Is Why Kings Disobeyed The Commandments Of God

They thought that they are in charge, but they weren’t rather God. And they thought that they can do whatever they like and get away with it

The simple answer is that they are not committing their hearts in the things of God which made them not to be prayerful to God, even many of them killed prophets of God, He sent to message and correct them in order to bring them back to Himself. But they rose up and killed them without thinking about what God will do after. For example, 1 Kings 18:4 says ,It was so when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the Lord , that Obediah took an hundred prophets and hid them by fifty in a cave and fed them with bread and water. And in verse 22 Elijah cried that Then said Elijah to the people I and even I only remain a prophet of the Lord but baals four hundred and fifty prophets. And in 1 Kings 13 :4 King Jeroboam raised his hand up to flog or kill the young prophet of God who came from Judah by God and his hand dried up. And he cried to him to restore his hand back, he prayed and God restored back his hand, verses 5-6. And prophet Micaiah was put in prison, fed him with bread of affliction and water of affliction by King Zedekiah and others for prophesying the mind of God to them, 1 Kings 22:24-28. And Jesus said, in the book of Matthew 23 : 37 that O Jerusalem , Jerusalem you that killed the prophets and stoned them which are sent to you… And Apostle Steven angrily said in Acts 7:51-52 You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you do always resist the Holy Ghost , as your fathers did so do you. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted ? And have slain them shewed before of the coming of the just one ;of whom you have been now the betrayers and murdered .

Note; if by prayer and fasting you can cast out devil as Jesus said, by the same prayer and fasting you can keep the commandments of God

Finally, if you are not always praying and fasting to God to keep you holy for Himself like King David, you are bound to sin against Him through forgetting His commandments even the words He spoke to you in dreams like King Solomon you will never remember any one. Or God who sent His prophet Ahijah to a servant Jeroboam, that He had given ten tribes of Israel to be their king, still he forgot it and led the people of Israel to sin against God that choosed him. Zerubbabel said , it is not by power nor might but by His Spirit. You see you cannot keep the commandments of God by your own power without Him the Maker of it helping you. It is impossible! God bless you more than your expectations in Jesus name, Amen.
