What is your purpose of doing business ? Or if not Business what is the purpose of doing what you are doing right now ? You see if your purpose of doing business is not making money or wealth, you are a fool. Because you are wasting your time that’s so precious on earth and energy for nothing sake . When I asked some people the question in a workshop. What is your purpose of doing business? It’s through business one makes money to purchase anything he wishes, do whatever he wants on earth.

The business strategies that helped me are these. 1, Trust, I built trust in the minds of my clients. I told you earlier that I am electrical engineer and have a workshop. Where I repairs all electrical apparatuses. One day a woman called me to come and repair her fan, I went and I told the woman that I wants to carry it to my workshop to repair it. The woman said no and I should do it in her house. I said ok and loosed it, discovered that the gear rod cranks have eaten and needs replacement. And I showed her the cranks , she took it from me and went inside her kitchen and marked it, gave it back to me and I never noticed it. And when I came back from the market and bought a new one, came back. She also took it from, went inside and gave me back. and I collected it, fixed it and the fan started functioning. She paid me and I left and from there she started giving me jobs to do for her.

One day she had another fan to repair and sent one of her daughters to call me. I went and she travelled and instructed them to allow me to repair it and do anything I will tell them. That they should believe me because I told that the capacitor is dead, that she herself had tested me at the first time I came to repair fan for them. That she marked the parts of the fan unknown to me and I went to the market, bought new one, repaired the fan. And I didn’t knew about it.

Their mother told her children to trust me because I didn’t disappointed her at the first time I did Job for her.

Building trust is so important in doing business between you and your clients.

2, The second strategy I used was honest , I was honest to my clients.

The local government area chairman I satisfied him to his taste, he trusted me and promised to link or direct me to all his friends that will have electrical jobs to do. And he did it, one of them reported me to him that I insulted him because of delay his payments at my absence. Then I didn’t knew about it, the man and his wife defended me at my absent, that they knew me very well I cannot do that. Rather Israel will make you happy for working for you. The Man was speechless how the chairman and his wife defended me and frankly speaking I never insulted him.

3, Another strategy I applied to my clients is to keep time. A client called me one morning I went to see him as he instructed me. Israel whenever I give you time to come and see me, you will come earlier or exactly the time, you have never come after the time. You are really a TIME KEEPER he nicknamed me. I have monitored you severally you have never come after the time rather few minutes to the time.

4, Another strategy I applied to my clients is laughing and truly I laugh alot but what makes me laugh I don’t know. I must confess to you this.

One of my clients confessed this to me that he loves seeing me in his house. He invited me to come and repair his lights and after I finished doing that, he said I should come to his sitting room and I went and sat down. He instructed his family members, please check in the house if there is something else to repair. I sat down with him and we are laughing and he gave me a drink to drink. As I was drinking both of us are laughing and later nothing else to repair. And I got up to leave he said next week come and check if there is something to repair in the house. I said Ok, thank you sir.

Nobody or company can give you job that would give you huge amount of money if they don’t trust you

These four strategies listed above I never set any of it on my own rather naturally it was in me and I made use of it unknowingly and my clients observed it and said it out to my hearing. You too can try it and succeed.
